K4 Kiosk — my fog scatter is grainy at 1024 samples

Following along with L11. My volume scatter looks blotchy at 1024 + denoise. Increasing density makes it worse. Anyone hit this — is it the world volume vs. cube method?

Quick check — are you using world volume or a cube? With world volume on a low-density cyberpunk scene I push step size down to 0.5 and bump density to about 0.04. Don't increase samples; volume needs density tuning, not more samples.

World volume. I'll try the step size — that's the part I missed. Ty 🙏

+1 to step size. Also worth checking that your camera clip end isn't 1000m — long clip distances make volumes super noisy because Cycles shoots through the whole world.

Good call on clip end. I cap mine at the back wall + 50m and the GPU times drop noticeably.
